Amy Zarate is the Practice Administrator for HARMONY Center for Surgery of the Ears, Nose and Throat. Amy joined the HARMONY Center healthcare team in 2014. Amy comes to our center with a seasoned knowledge of healthcare management and earned her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy in 1992. Her healthcare career has included working in various Metro Detroit area hospitals in pulmonary diagnostics, pulmonary rehab and in respiratory therapy.
Amy is driven by the highest standards of patient care and has a strong passion for healthcare leadership and earned a Bachelor in Healthcare Administration degree in 2013.
Amy also enjoys sharing her experiences in healthcare by teaching and mentoring staff and is currently an adjunct faculty member teaching various healthcare courses. Amy is a Certified Smoking Cessation Counselor with the American Lung Association as well as being a Certified Basic Life Support Instructor with the American Heart Association.
Amy’s highest priority is to always communicate in an open professional manner and she welcomes your feedback as to how we can improve your patient experience here at HARMONY Center for surgery of the Ears, Nose and Throat. As a patient of our center, you can count on Amy as a trusted resource within our practice and she is happy to answer your questions and or concerns no matter how big or small. When not involved in the practice, Amy enjoys spending time with her three talented children, running, cooking and most importantly spending quality time with her fiancé.
